Monturenkurs mit Katharina Pade – Individuell, kreativ und praxisnah

In diesem intensiven 3-Tages-Seminar steht das individuelle Erarbeiten von Tüllmonturen mit Stecknadeln auf weichen Köpfen im Mittelpunkt. Statt klassischem Arbeiten auf Gips- oder Holzköpfen mit Hammer und Stiften ermöglicht diese Methode eine flexiblere und intuitivere Herangehensweise an die Kopfform und Frisur.

Der Kurs richtet sich an Maskenbildner*innen, die einen freieren, kreativeren Zugang zu Monturen suchen – weg von starren Vorgaben, hin zu lösungsorientiertem Denken und Handeln. Von der Maßnahme über das Erstellen eines Head Wraps, der Tüllauswahl  bis hin zur praktischen Umsetzung jeder Partie lernen die Teilnehmenden, auf die Besonderheiten jeder Frisur und Kopfform einzugehen.

Ziel ist nicht Perfektion nach Lehrbuch, sondern eine Montur, die individuell passt – zur Frisur, zum Kopf und zum persönlichen Stil.

 
 

PROGRAM

Tag 1 – Analyse und Konzeption

Zum Einstieg analysieren wir die mitgebrachten Köpfe und besprechen die gewünschten Frisuren.
Im Zentrum steht die Frage:
Wie soll meine Perücke aussehen – und was braucht die Montur, damit sie passt?

Gemeinsam erarbeiten wir die gestalterische Grundlage anhand typischer Anforderungen wie:

  • Schütteres Haar am Oberkopf
  • Gezogener oder extremer Scheitel
  • Starke Wirbel
  • Mit oder ohne Pony
  • Gesteckter Nacken oder Klebeecken
  • Kein Nackenansatz, sondern ¾-Perücke mit Eigenhaar

Daraus entwickeln wir ein individuelles Monturkonzept – in klar gegliederte Partien:

1. Hinterkopf / Oberkopf

  • Wo liegt die Überlappung?
  • Welche Kopfrundung erfordert Falten?
  • Wie beeinflussen Scheitel oder Wirbel die Konstruktion?

2. Nacken

  • Wo endet die Perücke?
  • Gibt es einen Knickpunkt?
  • Ist ein partieller Abschluss ausreichend – oder braucht es einen vollständigen Nacken?

3. Scheitel / Wirbel / Pony

  • Wo sitzt der Wirbel?
  • Wo beginnt der Scheitel?
  • Ist der Scheitel stark gezogen oder nur angedeutet?
  • Gibt es einen Pony – oder nur eine natürliche Wuchsrichtung?

Auswahl des Tülls
Der passende Tüll wird nach Frisur, Transparenz und Materialfestigkeit ausgewählt. Unterschiede in Tüllarten und Färbetechniken werden theoretisch vermittelt, um gestalterische Möglichkeiten einschätzen zu können.

Anschließend werden die Partien wie ein Schnittmuster direkt auf dem Kopf eingezeichnet, der Tüll zugeschnitten und vorbereitet.

Tag 2: Montieren der Montur

Die praktische Umsetzung beginnt. Die vorbereiteten Tüllteile werden montiert – zuerst Hinterkopf und Nackenabschluss, danach Oberkopf und Scheitelbereich. Jede Partie wird individuell angepasst: Scheitel, Pony, Klebeecken, Ansatzfläche – abgestimmt auf Frisur und Kopfform. Die Schritte werden demonstriert und anschließend in Einzelarbeit umgesetzt.

Tag 3: Ansatztüll und Feinarbeit

Am letzten Tag stehen Ansatz, Stirn und Klebeecken im Fokus. Der Ansatztüll wird in zwei Lagen montiert, geschnitten und mit Stegen stabilisiert. Offene Nähte werden geschlossen. Die Teilnehmenden arbeiten selbstständig weiter, begleitet von gezielten Anleitungen.

Dieser Kurs richtet sich an Maskenbildner*innen, die freier und sicherer mit komplexen Kopfformen und Frisuren arbeiten möchten. Wer mit klassischen Techniken an Grenzen stößt, findet hier moderne Methoden mit mehr Spielraum und Verständnis. Ziel ist keine Lehrbuch-Perfektion, sondern eine Montur, die zur Frisur, zum Kopf und zum eigenen Stil passt.

Katharina Pade

Katharina Pade ist eine erfahrene Perückenmacherin und Haar Artist mit über 30 Jahren Berufserfahrung. Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Maskenbildnerin an den Münchner Kammerspielen arbeitete sie dort zunächst als feste Mitarbeiterin, bevor sie 1995 die MANUFAKTUR gründete – eine Werkstatt für die Anfertigung von Perücken, Haarteilen und theaterbezogenen Haararbeiten.

Über die MANUFAKTUR arbeitet Katharina Pade mit führenden Theaterhäusern, Filmproduktionen und Institutionen zusammen. Sie entwickelt dabei innovative Techniken in der Perückengestaltung, Befestigungsmethoden und historischen Frisurengestaltung. Ihre Expertise reicht von maßgefertigten Haarteilen über professionelle Haarintegration bis hin zu wegweisenden Silikonverklebungstechniken für besonders natürliche Ergebnisse.

Seit 1998 ist sie auch als Dozentin tätig – unter anderem an der Bayerischen Theaterakademie August Everding, der Hochschule Ernst Busch in Berlin sowie bei Fischbach & Miller und Kerling. Ihr praxisnaher Unterricht vermittelt fundiertes Wissen sowohl in traditionellen als auch modernen Techniken der Haar- und Perückenarbeit.

Katharina Pade is a highly experienced wig maker and hair artist with over 30 years in the industry. After completing her training as a makeup artist at the Münchner Kammerspiele, she worked as a resident artist before founding MANUFAKTUR in 1995—a workshop specializing in the creation of wigs, hairpieces, and theatrical hair applications. Through MANUFAKTUR, Katharina has collaborated with leading theaters, film productions, and institutions, developing innovative techniques in wig construction, bonding methods, and historical hairstyling. Her expertise extends to custom-made hairpieces, professional hair integration, and pioneering silicone bonding techniques for natural-looking results. As an educator, she has been teaching since 1998, sharing her knowledge at prestigious institutions like the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding, Ernst Busch Hochschule Berlin, and Fischbach & Miller and Kerling. Her hands-on approach ensures that students gain a deep understanding of both traditional and modern techniques in hair and wig work.

This workshop is ideal for professional hairstylists who have basic experience working with textured hair.

Braiding with hair extensions is an essential skill for hairstylists working in Film/TV, Session work, and Commercial styling. Whether refreshing a few braids, thickening existing styles, or adding dramatic length to a ponytail, mastering these techniques gives you the confidence and flexibility to handle a wide range of styling scenarios.

Since then, Adrian has freelanced with big names like Barrie Gower, Mark Coulier, and Kristyan Mallett. He’s contributed to major projects like World War Z, Game of Thrones, Fantastic Beasts, Star Wars, The Last of Us, The Sandman, The Witcher, House of Dragon, and Dune Part Two, among many others.
